SUMMER READING PROGRAMTo LTS Students and Parents: With a new Head and Academic Dean looking at the full school program, the LTS Summer Reading Program has been revised slightly for grades 6-10; the program for grades 11-12 remains the same. Good writing practices will still be expected. The book lists remain the same (replacement copies available from Kim for $5). The books chosen must be from the appropriate lists – sorry, no exceptions. The new due date of July 9, 2008 for grades 6-10 reflects a recognition that students may need a little break at the school year’s end before starting up again. The August 1, 2008 due date for grades 6-12 remains the same. Question sheets for grades 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12 are available from the English department or the below. Feel free to contact English Department Chair Kim Rizio or Academic Dean Sean Sonderman with questions. Your summer reading will count as 1/6th of your first semester English grade.
