WELCOME

"Financial need should not deter qualified students from applying."

Since 1975, this is the founding principle of which we are most proud, but it also presents our greatest challenge. In addition to scholarship aid, the cost of tuition does not cover actual cost making our fund-raising efforts critical to our ability to serve our students.

The substantial funds required for the Long Trail education can only be raised with the active support of parents, faculty, staff, and local individuals and businesses.

There are generous people who believe in us and are willing to underwrite your child's education substantially, but parental participation is necessary to set this in motion. Participation does not refer to the amount donated, but the percentage of families that give. A parent gift to the Annual Fund, whatever the size, inspires: it creates momentum far beyond the monetary value of a given donation and is crucial to our survival.

Consequently, just as our parents expect us to provide a nurturing supportive and challenging educational environment, we expect our parents to participate in Long Trail life by volunteering and contributing to the Annual Fund.
