COMMUNITY SERVICE
 Long Trail is committed to instilling in its students a sense of social justice and giving back to the community. For that reason, eight hours of community service are required each year. Students work with their advisors to suggest community service projects of their own, or they can choose from a wide variety of opportunities throughout the year. Students have been active in such events and organizations as Race for the Cure, Special Olympics and Sponsor-A-Highway program. The Long Trail community also raises money and organizes food drives for food cupboards and other local charities. |
