Busy Bees and Curious Crickets utilize adult-supervised wading pools. Junior Trail, Trailblazers, and LTDrama campers may swim in our 4’ deep lifeguard-supervised pool. Campers are never required to use the pools as outdoor play is always an option.

Field Trips
Children are encouraged, but not required, to go on field trips. Parents are always welcome at their own cost. Permission slips are sent home each Monday. Children are well supervised with an 8:1 ratio.
LTS Rule 209: A safe place
LTS campus is 100% drug free. No one may use, be under the influence of, sell, exchange, or possess illegal drugs or alcohol at Long Trail School — in the schoolhouse, on school grounds, on school buses, at activities, on school trips, or at school sponsored events where students are present.
Behavior
LTSummer campers are expected to exhibit exceptional behavior by showing full respect for people, places, and things. We reserve the right to dismiss any camper from the program who does not comply with LTSummer rules. Behavior problems will be brought to the attention of the coordinator who will notify parents. If a problem persists, the director and/or head of LTSummer will meet with the parents.
