Art Exploration – Middle School
The middle school visual arts curriculum is based on the exploration of the elements of art and principles of design. Students are given a variety of dynamic studio projects inspired by famous artists to become knowledgeable creators. By observing and reflecting upon the works of artists who came before them, students develop a stronger understanding of art’s role in history. Students will be challenged to problem solve, think creatively, and express themselves through innovative studio projects as they find their voice in art.
Required for all 6th and 7th grade students.
