Integrated Mathematics Years 1, 2, and 3
Integrated Mathematics is an alternative path to our traditional Algebra 1 and Geometry courses and placement in this course is based upon Math teacher recommendation. This slower-paced course aims to deepen and extend student understanding built in previous courses by focusing on developing fluency with solving linear equations, inequalities, and systems. On a daily basis, students use problem-solving strategies, questioning, investigating, analyzing critically, gathering and constructing evidence, and communicating rigorous arguments to justify their thinking. Students learn in collaboration with others while sharing information, expertise, and ideas.
