Courtney lives in Wells with her husband, Brian, and her three children: Blake (a current 10th grade student at Long Trail), Hunter (an 8th grader at Dorset Elementary) and Anabel (a 3rd grader at Wells Village School). Courtney moved to Vermont from Maryland as a high school sophomore and attended Burr and Burton Academy. She fell in love with accounting after taking an accounting class at BBA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Professional Accounting from the University of Vermont and upon graduation, she entered the world of public accounting in Manchester. She received her Certificate of Public Accounting (CPA) in 2014 after passing the exam on her first attempt. She worked at several local firms over the last eighteen years and has decided to shift to a private accounting career. In her spare time, she enjoys home improvement projects with her husband, traveling the world and sitting on the beach.
