Registration is open for the Governor’s Institute of VT Winter Weekend; programs are available on two distinct February weekends.  GIV offers short, intensive residential weekends where 9-12 grade Vermont students delve deeply into various topics from song writing to biological illustration and more.  Learn more at
Auditions for two one-act plays will be held on Tues., Jan. 7 through Thurs., Jan. 9 from  3:00-5:00 pm. Auditioning students should plan to attend all three days for the two-hour time. Students in good academic standing in grades 6-12 are welcome: selection to perform requires a regular commitment of 3:00-5:00 pm each week. We are casting two plays: William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and a student-written play. Twelfth Night will be presented during the One-Act Region Competition at Mill River Union High School on the March 9 weekend. The Middle School Drama class will generate a third play written by English teacher Luke Kreuger. All three plays will be presented at LTS on Fri. and Sat., March 15 and 16 at 6:30 pm. Contact Anna with any  questions.
